in good almost-antique condition

this is a wonderful older locket that has a nice, snug closure and remnants of past memories — there's a bit of glued in paper that would have been the back of a photo or two

time-earned patina accents the flowers and make the design details pop — polishing decisions on older pieces like this are left to the buyer

the hinge is secure, but the bar that runs through the hinge sticks out beyond the hinge and appears to be not silver, which is often true in older lockets where they opt for stronger metals for the pieces with more movement

there's a subtle dent on the back of the locket in the center/top alongside plenty of other surface scratches, dents and dings inside and outside of the locket, including a '43' primitively scratched inside the locket
